May 2001: | Graduated from Lyndon State College B.A. Communtication Arts and Sciences Graphic Design A.S. Interactive Multimedia (Web page design) Minor in Psychology |
Spring Semester 2001: |
School internship: Lyndon State college handbook/planner. I was responsible for the concept, artwork, and organization of a 144 page book, containing 13 original illustrations, around 100 photographs and about 20 pages of text.
Classes this semester: Practicum, Virtual Arts and Sciences, Advanced Design for Print, and Psycopharmacology. |
Fall Semester 2000: |
Classes this semester: Creating a Portfolio, Intro to digital media, Virtual Humankind, Special intrests on the web, and Instructional Technology. |
Summer 2000: | Work experience: Worked for Watkins Moter lines. My position was a dock worker. in this position I was responsible for the safe movement of merchendise from one trailer truck to another. This position doesn't have much to do with Graphic design but it paid well and it motivated me not to do that again. |
Spring Semester 2000: |
Classes this semester: Instruction to Dreamweaver, Instruction to Director, Applied Art, Death and Dieing, and human Sexuality ( I am sure you didn't need to know about the last two classes but they were for the minor in psycology.
Worked during this semester for the Lyndon State college Security department. |
Fall Semester 1999: |
Classes this semester: Design for print, Instruction to photoshop, Package design, computer presentations, and intro to the internet. |
Summer 1999: | Work experience: Worked for Northeast Graphics. My position was a Jogger. A jogger is responsible for taking the finished printed material off of a web press. Besides this responsibility I assisted in changing plates, basic press maintainence, re webbing the press, and in some cases I was responsible for cutter registration. This Job was very valuble in teaching me about what happens after the project leaves the computer and gets on press. |

Summer 1998: | Work experience: Worked for Quality landscaping. My position was to assist in a mowing crue cutting residential and commercial lawns. |
1998: | Became one of the founding members of the Zapf Dingbats, a graphic design club with the mission of promoting creativity amongst the students of Lyndon. |

Introduction to Graphic design ( affectionatly known as Cut and Paste ) Introduction to Illustrator, Photoshop, and Quark Xpress. |
1997: | Graduated from Cheshire high School, Cheshire, CT
During High School Worked for R.W. Hines Hardware. My postion was a cleark and I was responsible for helping customers, stocking shelves and setting up in store displays. This job was important in my customer service skills. |
